Description:
Our exciting new citizen science eel project (part of Thames Catchment Community Eels Project Development Phase) is seeking volunteers to be trained this month, who can then commit to volunteering at 1 of 6 sites we are going to be monitoring for young eels over the next year.
You'll be volunteering with another volunteer and recording your visits and finds on our eel app. The project involves in river volunteering.
To register your interest/find out more email anna@kennetandpang.org
Volunteers wanted!
Do you have 3 hours to spare every fortnight and you'd like to help the Critically Endangered European eel?
Yes I do!
Then we want to hear from you.
The project is possible thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The Thames Catchment Community Eels Project is led by Thames Rivers Trust and we are one of 8 partners working together for a better future for eels, rivers and communities.
