We are looking for volunteers who would like to learn how to survey for water vole and then join in organised days on stretches of the Pang or Kennet to survey in small teams.

The training day will run 9.30am - 4pm on a stretch of the Kennet in the village of Minal (Mildenhall). 

Surveying takes place from in the river. Waders, PPE and refreshments will be supplied.

Water vole surveying once trained is usually a day per survey, we do not survey when it is raining. Surveying takes place from April - end of September. Each site is usually surveyed once a year.
